Strong winds left thousands without power in OGE system

  Strong winds in Oklahoma on Tuesday caused power outages for Oklahoma Gas and Electric. An estimated 8,200 customers were without service as of late in the afternoon. Crude oil prices slipped while OK energy stocks made moderate gains

The announcement that the U.S. Energy Department plans to sell 26 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve sent crude oil prices lower more than 1% on Tuesday.
