More than 90 Arkansas businesses, farm groups, cities and counties joined in their opposition to a legislative bill that would eliminate net metering for renewable energy.
The organizations came out against newly filed HB 380 that they contend would raise electric bills and kill thousands of solar industry jobs reported the Arkansas Times. They contend the bill would reverse solar-friendly state policies adopted by the General Assembly four years ago.
