Fallin Signs House Bill 1123 to Deter Unruly Protests on Critical Property

Legislation prohibiting public protests on sites with critical infrastructure was signed into law by Governor Mary Fallin last week. The bill, authored by Rep. Scott Biggs of Chickasha, was advanced as a preventative measure to impede disruptive protests. Baker Hughes Rig Count: Texas Adds 6, Oklahoma Loses 7 Rigs

WTI and Brent Crude Rebound From Thursday’s Losses

Crude oil futures rebounded on Friday after Thursday’s big drop, according to Bloomberg MarketWatch. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, June West Texas Intermediate crude rose 70 cents, or 1.5%, to settle at $46.22 a barrel.
