US Energy Information Administration: Crude Oil Inventories Up 1.2M Barrels

Reports indicate that US crude oil inventories were up by 1.2-million barrels for the week ending last Friday. The US Energy Information Administration doesn’t include the Strategic Oil Petroleum Reserve in those figures. Oklahoma Tornado Season Appears Ready To Set Records

It’s been a hyper-active start to the Oklahoma tornado season and it’s just getting underway.  The National Weather Service reports 43 tornadoes were recorded in the state during May.   As crude oil prices dropped since OPEC+ decided over the weekend to continue with production cuts into 2025, crude oil stocks increased in a surprise move across the U.S., including the Cushing Hub in Oklahoma.
