Trump vows to eliminate Interior Department if he wins White House

If former President Donald Trump is re-elected to the White House, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland will be out of a job.

Not just out of work, but the department she currently heads under the Biden administration will be gone. History!

It’s the vow made by Trump in a recent interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that aired Sunday, when he talked about wasteful government programs he’d slash. He also indicated “environmental agencies” would also be on the chopping block.

“We’re going to do, like, Department of Interior,” he told host Rachel Campos-Duffy, without expanding on his plans for the department that oversees energy production on federal land, among other responsibilities reported E&E News.
