Four earthquakes reported in oil and gas plays in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas

At least four earthquakes were reported in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas over the weekend. All four were in active oil and gas drilling plays. Oil and Gas employment helped create Oklahoma’s 3.2 percent jobless rate

Oklahoma was one of 40 states in the U.S. last week where the unemployment rate was below 4 percent. Oklahoma’s unemployment rate actually improved to 3.2 percent for December 2018 for the 8th consecutive month, according to the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. Oil prices moved upward on Friday and so did stocks in major oil and gas firms
