HollyFrontier wraps up $655 million acquisition

HollyFrontier Corporation, the Dallas firm with storage operations and refineries in Oklahoma and Kansas, announced its subsidiaries have wrapped up the previously announced acquisition of Sonneborn US Holdings Inc. and Sonneborn Cooperatief U.A. in a $655 million deal. Rig count dropped in U.S. in past week and in Oklahoma

Shareholders say ‘yes’ to Chesapeake’s $4 billion purchase of WildHorse Resources

Shareholders in Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Texas-based WildHorse Resource Development Corporation have approved Chesapeake’s $4 billion acquisition of WildHorse. The preliminary results of the elections were announced indicating that about 96 percent of the Chesapeake shareholders voted for the acquisition.
