The number of US solar installations has increased fivefold since 2016. The growth isn’t as rapid in Oklahoma. Eleven thousand solar installations generate enough power in this state to fulfill the needs of more than 21 thousand homes.
Oklahoma work in the area is topping several other states. It ranks 44th now, but is expected to be 36th in total solar power generation over the next five years.
