Oil tank battery fire investigated near El Reno

  A Friday night oilfield tank battery explosion is under investigation by firefighters in El Reno. The explosion happened at a site near SW 27 and S. Airport Road. KOCO TV reported one homeowner caught the explosion on camera. No injuries were reported and firefighters let the fire burn itself out.

OKC gets $2 million grant to improve sidewalks

  The City of Oklahoma was recently awarded nearly $2 million in Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grants from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) to fund pedestrian improvements near five elementary schools.
