Texas biorefinery shutting down—owner blames government uncertainty

While U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe was criticizing the Corn Lobby over biofuel subsidies, a renewable fuels company was announcing the closing of its biorefinery in Texas. Turnpike Authority approves $261 million extension of Tulsa’s Gilcrease Expressway

FEMA okays $14 million in emergency disaster grants in Oklahoma

     FEMA says in the one month period from early May to early June, it approved nearly $14 million in disaster grants for victims of flooding and severe weather in Oklahoma.
