Rig counts fall in Oklahoma and U.S.

More oil and gas drilling rigs have gone into inactivity across the U.S. and in Oklahoma in the past week. Oklahoma’s rig count dropped by 5 to reach 97. A year ago, the state had 141 rigs pursuing new energy. The national count, according to Baker Hughes Co. dropped by 4 to 963. The number …
