Oklahoma jobless rate down to 3.8%…..Energy was one of top gainers in creating jobs

  Oklahoma’s energy industry through its growing employment helped push the state’s jobless rate to 3.8 percent, the lowest such rate since August 2008. OGE wraps up $400 million issuance in senior notes

Oklahoma Gas and Electric announced it has completed the issuance of $400 million in Senior Notes. The 3.80% notes were series due August 15, 2028. National oil and gas rig count remains steady while Oklahoma’s increased in past week

The number of oil and gas rigs working in  Oklahoma grew by one in the past week to reach 140 while nationally, the count was unchanged at 1,057. Nationally, the number of oil rigs remained at 869 while the number of gas rigs was also unchanged at 186. Still, the national  count is 111 higher …
