The Biden administration’s plan to possibly sell more oil from the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve not only is questioned by some lawmakers but by a man considered to be a market guru—Larry McDonald.
He contends the U.S. is “playing with fire” and said so after reports surfaced this week that the President is considering more oil sales in an effort to lower gasoline prices. The nation’s oil reserves are at a 40-year low as global crude prices are rallying.
