EPA makes $3 million settlement with Permian driller

 

The EPA’s $3 million settlement and fines against Callon Permian LLC for emissions from tanks, flares and other equipment in the Permian Basin is a done deal.

The Environmental Protection Agency formally issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order against the Texas energy company after the EPA identified the violations by using a helicopter equipped with a special infrared camera that detected hydrocarbon leaks reported the Odessa American.
