EV charging stations to be installed on I-25 in New Mexico

  New Mexico has started development of a series of interstate electric vehicle charging stations using millions in federal and state infrastructure money. Gov. Extreme heat prompts Texas grid operator to urge customers to conserve electricity

  The pounding heat across Oklahoma, Texas and other states prompted ERCOT, the Texas grid operator to issue a warning and at the same time ask electricity users to turn up their thermostats. The notice went out late Sunday and ERCOT asked its large electric customers to lower their electricity use reported the Texas Tribune. …

New Arkansas steel plant to rely on renewable energy

  U.S. Steel announced it intends to build a $3 million steel plant in eastern Arkansas, one that will rely heavily on renewable energy from Entergy. The plant will be located in Osceola and north of Memphis.   Click here for Arkansas Business
