New Mexico’s lone Republican U.S. Representative, Yvette Herrell introduced recent legislation to protect the oil and gas industry from the Biden administration’s threatening efforts designed to protect some plants and animals nearing extinction.
She contends that critical habitat designations could impose undue burdens on some of the state’s industries and threaten local and state economies reported the Farmington Daily Times.
