Lifestyle change in US results in truck boom

 

The COVID-19 pandemic brought about a lifestyle change in the U.S. and with it came a boom in trucks. Lots of them are needed to carry goods from manufacturing sites to warehouses where in turn the products are delivered in the home-delivery industry.

As Bloomberg reported this week, whether it’s champagne, Harley-Davidson motorcycles or new TVs, Americans keep buying more stuff, and all of it needs to get hauled to warehouses, storefronts and doorsteps in trucks that typically run on diesel.
