A few companies have new drilling plans in Oklahoma

 

A few new wells are in the drilling plans of a handful of energy companies in Oklahoma as indicated by permits to drill granted this week by state regulators.

Mack Energy Company, headquartered in Duncan received a permit to drill at 7 2S 2W which is a site about 4 miles southeast of Ratliff City in Carter County. The company plans to drill the SW Wildcat Jim Deese Unit #19-2-1 well with a depth of only 4,442 feet.

Continental Resources received an 18-month permit for the McClain #4-18-7XHW well to be drilled at 7 7N 5W in Grady County.

OVINTIV Mid-Continent Inc. was awarded a permit to drill the Mary #1507 2H 34XX well at 15 15N 7W in Kingfisher County. The site is about 5 miles due south of the city of Kingfisher and the permit indicated the well drilling depth is to be 19,662 feet.
