Report shows most states cut spending on environmental protection in past decade

A new report out from the Environmental Integrity Project shows that in the past decade, at least 30 states have slashed funding for their environmental protection agencies. Northeast Nebraska to get major new wind farm

Work started last month on a major new wind farm in northeast Nebraska. The contract for the 300 MW Thunderhead wind farm went to Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives Inc., a construction company with specialized energy and civil expertise.
