Devon to Announce 3rd Q Earnings Oct. 31

Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy plans to announce its third-quarter 2017 earnings on Oct. 31, a Tuesday. It will be made after the close of U.S. financial markets.  On the following day, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. the company will hold a conference call to answer questions from analysts and investors.      

Fuel Taxes Rose Nationwide in Past Year

The Energy Information Administration says taxes and fees on gasoline by states and the District of Columbia were up nearly 28 cents a gallon as of July 1, 2017 compared to a year ago. The city of Ardmore is moving ahead with plans to construct a Federal Aviation Administration-approved control tower at the Municipal Airport. Crude Oil Futures Dip on Tuesday as WTI Remains Above $50 a Barrel

Oil prices continued to tumble on Tuesday, ahead of the weekly data reports which are expected to show a second consecutive weekly decline in domestic crude inventories, according to Bloomberg MarketWatch.
