Magellan Midstream Reports Pipeline Spill in Bastrop County, Texas
Tulsa-based Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. reported Thursday that a crude oil pipeline rupture in Bastrop County, Texas leaked nearly 1,200 gallons of oil. Magellan advised that an excavating contractor performing maintenance activities on the company’s Longhorn pipeline struck a fitting shortly before 9 a.m., forcing the temporary evacuation of nearby residents.
