Crude oil prices, stock prices start week mostly higher

Crude oil prices rose Monday with a lot of focus on Friday’s release of the US personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index. West Texas Intermediate Crude futures gained 12 cents Monday to settle at $81.75 a barrel. States consider new laws increasing penalties for pipeline protesters
