A lawsuit has been filed by the families of six Tishomingo teenage girls killed a year ago in the crash of their small car with a rock-hauling semi-truck.

They filed suit in Johnston County District Court against the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, blaming the agency over the design of a highway intersection for the March 22, 2022 deadly crash. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 377 and State Highways 22 and 99.
