Oil and Gas Expo this week in OKC

Oklahoma’s largest and longest-running oil and natural gas event…the Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Expo will be held this week in Oklahoma City.

Sponsored by the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, the Oct. 12 event at the Bennett Center on the State Fairgrounds will feature not only some of the industry’s mainstay companies, but also show off the latest innovations in oilfield technology.

EXPO 2023 is hosted by the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board’s Committee for Sustaining Oklahoma’s Energy Resources. The OERB works on behalf of the people of Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas – who are made up of more than 2,500 producers and thousands of royalty owners. It will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“The 26th year of the Expo will continue to be the best oil and natural gas networking event in Oklahoma with a full exhibit floor and Harold Hamm speaking,” said OERB Executive Director Mindy Stitt. “We look forward to welcoming thousands of professionals in one day, facilitating valuable connections and showcasing the latest innovations in the industry.”

In addition to the main Expo, there are several exciting events scheduled for this year:

  • Game Changer: Coffee and Conversation with Harold Hamm. From 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from Harold Hamm, a pioneer of the American Energy Renaissance.
  • 2nd Annual Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas BBQ Competition: Featuring partnerships between industry cook teams and E&P companies, this competition promises to serve up the oilfield’s finest food and BBQ.
  • Raffle for a Pontoon Boat: Expo visitors can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a pontoon boat. The drawing will take place at 2 p.m., and all proceeds will benefit the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation.
