Three large electric utilities in Kansas and Missouri are being criticized because they haven’t followed through on their climate action plans.

The criticism is largely from the Sierra Club. The group contends that after three years, two of the largest electric utilities in Kansas and Missouri – Ameren Missouri and Evergy – have regressed in their plans to move to clean energy. The Club released its criticism in its The Dirty Truth About Utility Climate Pledges report.
