Colorado faces shortage of electricians as it goes green

Colorado’s push to really go green and promote electric vehicles and renewable energy sources is facing a shortage—of electricians.

They’re the people need to do the work and already electrical contractors face backlogs for the installation of EV chargers and other appliances in the state’s eager desire to fight climate change.

The Colorado Sun reports that as a result, some firms have raised wages to not only attract new workers but to keep the skilled electricians they already have.
