New Mexico US Senator criticizes his own governor for vetoing climate tax incentives

A recent veto by New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham of a bill that included tax credits for EVs and geothermal energy generation didn’t sit well with one of her own Democrats.

New Mexico U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich went public with his criticism of her actions, declaring, “New Mexico’s state Legislature took bold action for our state. I am disappointed to see those efforts now vetoed.”

He took to social media to express his disappointment reported the Albuquerque Journal.
