New oil and gas exploration around Oklahoma

Who’s drilling where in Oklahoma?

Newly approved permits to drill show Blaine County, one of the three primary counties that make up the STACK play will get some oilfield activity.

Devon Energy has a four-well single pad project at a site about 8 miles southeast of Watonga. The legal site is 20 15N 10W for all four Cheetah 29_32-15N-10W wells.

Grady County in the SCOOP will see drilling activity too. Gulfport MidCon LLC has a permit for the  SCR #6-31X6H, located southwest of Lindsay at 30 4N 5W.

Another Grady County drilling project received approval for Warwick-Jupiter LLC. It too is southwest of Lindsay and just north of Cox City where the ELRAY 18-7 #1WHX will be drilled at 19 3N 5W.

Stephens County will be the site of the SANNER #36, located at 22 1S 5W which is several miles due west of Velma. Hays Production LLC of Velma received the permit to drill.

Roberson Oil Company of Ada has a permit for the ESTER CREE #2-26MH,  at 35 17N 3E in Lincoln County. The site is about 3 miles north of Tryon.

Two permits for wells in Seminole County were approved by state regulators. Reach Oil and Gas Company Inc. received a permit to drill the LG ##1-35, at 35 8N 5E which is 2 miles east of Maud.

A permit to recomplete was also issued to Venis Exploration Company for the GRISSO #1-B, located at 23 9N 6E.

 

Tilford Pinson Exploration LLC of Edmond obtained a permit for the RONISS #1-10X in Hughes County.
