Justices hear arguments against EPA power plant rules

West Virginia took the lead Monday in oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme court in the fight by 20 states, including Oklahoma, against President Biden’s climate agenda.

In doing so, the states have invoked the “major questions doctrine” which is a judicial principal being used to challenge the EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.
