Construction improvements to one of the buildings at the Oklahoma State Capitol means interference with some hearings at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
The Commission announced this week that it would have to move certain courtroom hearings due to HVAC upgrades at the Will Rogers Building.
“The Oil & Gas Conservation Motion Docket that is currently heard in Courtroom G of the Will Rogers Building on Tuesdays will be heard in virtual Courtroom G until further notice,” stated the commission in its advisory.
“Dockets and virtual attendance information can be found on our website here. Should anyone arrive in the Will Rogers Building wishing to attend the Oil & Gas Conservation Motion Docket, there will be accommodations made in an alternate location in the building.”
The Oil & Gas Conservation Division has a mission to provide compliance, information, investigation, and permitting services to the oil and gas industry, landowners, mineral interests, and the general public so together we can develop the oil and gas resources of the State in a fair and orderly manner, while protecting the environment and ensuring the public’s safety.
The OGCD has six divisions: Administrative, Field Operations, Induced Seismicity and Underground Injection Control, Pollution Abatement, Public Assistance, Surety, and Technical Services.
