Two new directors appointed this week to Dallas-based IOG Resources, LLC also sit on boards of Oklahoma-based companies.
James D. Bennett, former President and CEO of SandRidge Energy and Barbara M. Baumann, a current member of Devon Energy’s board were named to the energy investment firm.
Bennett is also an independent member of the board at Kimray Inc. and recently served as Executive chairman of Tapstone Energy Inc. in Oklahoma City.
Baumann is president and owner of Cross Creek Energy Corporation headquartered in Denver, Colorado. As well as being a member of the Devon Energy board, she sits on the board of Ascent Resources, another Oklahoma-based firm.
The two are joining Marc Rowland, founder of IOG Capital (formerly affiliated with IOGR) and former EVP and CFO of Chesapeake, and Steve Mueller, former President, Chairman and CEO of Southwestern Energy and current Senior Advisor to First Reserve, as independent Directors.
IOG Resources, LLC was established in 2017 and invests in diversified upstream oil and gas assets as a non-operated working interest partner.
