Charging stations at rest stops along interstate highways are not permitted by law as Colorado officials recently found out when they sought to install them along I-70 in the eastern part of the state.
But the transportation bill passed last week in the U.S. House of Representatives would change the prohibition as Colorado Public Radio reported.
