This week’s heat wave in Texas and resulting request by the electric grid operators for customers to conserve their electricity also raised questions about the state’s reliability on wind energy.
Fox Business News reported that some Texas leaders were skeptical of a lack of any regulation for the renewable power source’s reliability and how it might play a role in the conservation request.
