Some Texas farmers oppose solar farm growth

  East of Temple, Texas and northeast of Austin, farmers have become outspoken against the growth of solar farm development. Wind farm operator’s 1Q earnings hurt by Oklahoma winter storm

  The severe winter weather that hit Oklahoma in February ended up affecting financial operations of wind-farm operator ALLETE Clean Energy. The Duluth, Minnesota-based company with wind farm operations near Ardmore and Anadarko reported first quarter 2021 earnings of 99 cents per share on net income of $51.8 million. February winter storm boosted Evergy’s 1Q earnings

  Kansas utility Evergy, Inc. announced its first quarter 2021 earnings were $192 million or 84 cents a share. Intel invests billions to modernize New Mexico plant
