OGE agrees to $6.7 million revenue increase for Arkansas customers

OGE announced it’s reached an agreement for a $6.7 million revenue increase for its customers in Arkansas.
The agreement was signed Jan. 28 with the Arkansas Public Service Commission staff and the office of the Arkansas Attorney General.
It was a non-unanimous settlement agreement and OGE’s announcement stated that he only non-signatory to the settlement agreement also agreed not to oppose it.
The $6.7 million is the maximum amount allowed under law in the filing. The utility had asked for an increase of $10.3 million but a 4% cap limited it to the $6.7 million.
The Arkansas Public Service Commission set a hearing date to finalize the agreement on Thursday, Feb. 4. The new rates, if approved will become effective April 1, 2021.
