Blueknight Energy Expands Ownership of Asphalt Terminals Nationwide

Oklahoma City-based Blueknight Energy Partners announced this week it completed the $109 million purchase of nine asphalt terminals from Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions of Jackson, Mississippi. Tulsa’s Murphy Energy Latest to File Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Tulsa-based Murphy Energy has become the latest energy firm to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy, listing more than $75 million debt including $57 million to lenders led by Bank of America. Drop In Crude Oil Inventories Generates Increase in WTI and Brent Settlements for Wednesday

Oil futures finish higher on Wednesday after U.S. government data revealed an unanticipated drop in crude oil inventories, according to Bloomberg MarketWatch.
