Judge doesn’t like plea deal for “Frack Master” who conned investors out of millions

Former oil company pilot to be buried this week

A longtime oilfield company pilot is being mourned this week in Oklahoma. Jack Hood Reid, 82, of McCloud died this week and his funeral will be April 5 in Shawnee. Pollution secrecy proposed by legislators and Oklahoma Environmental Secretary

Tulsa’s Empire Petroleum acquires Bakken assets in $5.6 million deal

Tulsa’s Empire Petroleum Corporation has made a nearly $6 million acquisition of assets in the Bakken play in Montana and North Dakota. Dividend declared by Murphy Oil

Arkansas-based Murphy Oil Corporation announced a quarterly dividend this week. Based in El Dorado, the company declared a quarter cash dividend on the common stock of 25 cents a share or $1 a share on an annualized basis. The dividend will be payable June 3, 2019 to stockholders of record as of May 20, 2019.
