Pilot-less airplane development is growing

The expansion and development of pilot-less aircraft drew a lot of attention at a recent Kansas Aviation Summit.

Deb Sanning, deputy regional administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration warned it is coming.

 

Sanning told those on hand in Salina, Kansas that uncrewed flights are becoming more normalized because companies are investing in electric propulsion systems and autonomoous programs.
