An investigation is underway in Arkansas where a natural gas transmission line ruptured and burst into flames, sending flames nearly 300 in the air.
It was Wednesday night near the Jessieville area of the state, which is in west central Arkansas. The flames and explosion forced the closure of a nearby state highway and resulted in the evacuation of some nearby residents.
According to the National Pipeline Mapping System, Enable Gas Transmission LLC operates the line.
