A big drop in crude oil prices hit the markets on Monday and Oklahoma energy stocks recorded losses for the day.
West Texas Intermediate crude for December delivery dropped $2.59 to finish at $85.49 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude droopped $2.33 a barrell and closed at $89.83 on ICE Futures Europe.
November natural gas rose 3 cents to $2.93 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks opened the week with moderate losses ranging from 1% to 3%.
