New board member named at OERB

The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB) announced the appointment of Elizabeth K. Brown to its board of directors.

Brown serves as General Counsel to The Gloria Corporation, a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company founded by her father and based in Ada, Oklahoma. She is also a shareholder and member of the board of directors of Phillips Murrah, P.C., where she has practiced for most of her legal career.

“The unique mission of the OERB speaks volumes about the oil and natural gas industry’s commitment to making a lasting impact in Oklahoma,” said Liz Brown. “I especially admire the OERB outreach programs to support teachers and students which encourage education in STEM fields. I look forward to being a part of this great work.”

Brown is a member of the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma and is involved in its advocacy efforts for the oil and natural gas industry. She is also on the National Stripper Well Association Board of Directors.
