The third quarter financial results of ammonia-related producer LSB Industries, Inc. will be made known at the first of November.
The Oklahoma City company pllans to release the report after the close of the stock market on Wednesday, November 1. It will be followed by a conference call on Thursday, November 2 at 9 a.m. Central Time.
Participating in the call will be President & Chief Executive Officer, Mark Behrman, and Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Maguire.
Results will show how the company responded to a drop in net sales in the second quarter compared to the previous year. They totaled $166 million, down from the $285 million in the second quarter of 2022. Net income was also down. It was $25 million, compared to $103 million a year earlier. Adjusted net income was $19 million, far from the $109 million in the second quarter of 2022.
The company manufactures ammonia and ammonia-related products at facilities in Cherokee, Alabama, El Dorado, Arkansas and Pryor, Oklahoma and operates a facility for a global chemical company in Baytown, Texas.
