An ozone alert for the city of Tulsa was issued for Wednesday by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

As the map above shows, there is concern that the air might be unhealthy for certain residents in Tulsa, Osage and Washington Counties. Because of the questionable air conditions, the DEQ issued an air quality health advisory.

Twenty-six other counties across northern Oklahoma will have ‘moderate’ air issues according to the DEQ.

Much of the rest of the state will have healthy air conditions.
