Devon’s 8 wells on 2 pads produced 6,500 barrels of oil a day

The STACK proved to be a winner for Devon Energy as the company filed recent completion reports on 8 wells drilled in adjoining sections with a combined production of more than 6,500 barrels of oil a day.

Five of the wells were on a single pad and three others on a single pad.

The company reported three Edward wells on a single pad, drilled at a Blaine County site about 9 miles northeast of the town of Geary, 24 15N 10W, had combined production of 2,311 barrels of oil a day.

The Edward 25_36-15n-10w 3hx, completed in August at a drilled depth of 21,224 feet produced 681 barrels of oil a day and 4,335 Mcf of natural gas. The well had a spud date of August 2021 and production came out of the Mississippi Solid according to the completion report.

The Edward 25_36-15n-10w 4hx, also completed in August after being spudded the previous August, produced 681 barrels of oil a day and 4,335 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 21,224 feet according to the completion report.

The third well, the Edward 25_36-15n-10w 5hx, produced 888 barrels of oil a day and 5,806 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 21,380 feet following an August 2021 spudding according to the completion report.

Devon also completed five wells at an adjacent section of land, 23 15N 10W and their combined production was 4,199 barrels of oil a day.

The Lake 26_35-15n-10w 5hx, with a drilled depth of 21,546 feet, produced 697 barrels of oil a day and 4,077 Mcf of natural gas. The completion report showed a spudding in December of 2021.

The Lake 26_35-15n-10w 4hx produced 656 barrels of oil a day and 4,146 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 21,277 feet and completion was made in October following a Christmas Day spudding 2021.

The third well, the Lake 26_35-15n-10w 1hx, was completed Oct. 5, 2022 with a drilled depth of 21,458 feet. Production was 994 barrels of oil a day and 4,609 Mcf of natural gas. The completion report showed a spudding on Jan. 11, 2022.

Well number four was the Lake 26_35-15n-10w 2hx with production of 967 barrels of oil a day and 5,525 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 21,214 feet and completion was made Oct. 5 of this year following a January spudding.

Devon’s fifth well on the same pad was the Lake 26_35-15n-10w 3hx which produced 885 barrels of oil a day and 4,934 Mcf of natural gas. Lake 26_35-15n-10w 3hxwas made at a depth of 21,166 feet following a Jan. 2, 2022 spudding.
