New rules that apply to gas utility companies in Colorado could mean higher costs for heating and cooking in the state.
The rules were adopted Dec. 1 by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They might also put a limit on natural gas line expansion reported the Colorado Springs Gazette.
