A southeast New Mexico county approved construction this week of a solar farm project that will supply electrical power to Chevron USA and its Permian Basin operations south of Carlsbad.
The Eddy County Board of County Commissioners voted to issue $40 million in industrial revenue bonds to finance the solar farm reported the Carlsbad Current-Argus.
