Nearly $8 million in grants will result in upgrades to Enid’s Woodring Regional Airport, upgrades that will allow nearby Vance Air Force Base make more use of the facility.
Construction is to to begin in the coming months. The Enid News and Eagle reported Woodring’s center runway will be reconstruction which in effect will allow it to be a fourth runway for Vance Air Force base.
