OTA Lawsuit filing

The fight by hundreds of Norman residents against the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority over a proposed new turnpike that would run through homes and business parts of the city took another step this week.

The residents filed suit and accused the Authority of violating the state’s Open Meeting Act and this week their attorney Stan Ward sought to delay a hearing to validate $5 billion in bonds reported the Norman Transcript.
