Postal service to expand EV fleet

More electric-powered mail trucks will soon be zipping around Oklahoma and other states after the U.S. Postal Service said it plans a substantial increase in its EV fleet.

Officials said Wednesday their plan is to boost electric vehicles from 20% to 50% in the initial purchase of 50,000 mail trucks and the first are expected on the streets next year reported the Associated Press.
