This is a big week for lots of energy firms across Oklahoma as their quarterly financial reports will be unveiled, showing either a hoped-for gain of profits or whether belt-tightening is necessary.
It should also reveal whether some oil and gas companies in the state will perhaps expand their energy efforts because of oil prices that continued to remain over the $100-a-barrel mark. Or will they retrench and forge ahead with continued production?
On Monday, we will see quarterly reports from Devon Energy, One Gas, ONEOK, Williams Companies and Alliance Resources.
Conference calls will follow in most cases.
Tuesday will see a report issued by Gulfport Energy followed by reports on Wednesday from Blueknight Energy, Laredo Petroleum, Chesapeake Energy and Cheniere Energy.
On Thursday, reports will be issued by Continental Resources and ConocoPhillips.
